[SOLVED] Discount for buying 3 items - possible in Starter version?

Hi,

We have a very simple shop with one single product. We're using the Starter version of HS this time, we've used commercial editions and also Hikaserial with other client's websites in the past.

The question is that we want to offer a discount price if a customer buys 3 of the product.

Also a discount if they buy 10.

That's it.

Can we achieve that with the Starter Edition ? I set up a discount & a coupon but both applied *however many* items were added to the cart.

Hello Paul,

The solution will probably be to directly use 'auto loaded' coupons via "Hikashop->Orders->Coupons" and use "Minimum number of products" and "product" options.

Thanks Mohamed but there are no options for Minimum Quantity or Product in the Starter edition.

I guess I'd need to upgrade to Essentials, is that correct ?

I upgraded to the Essential version and used Minimum Quantities.

To help others here's what to do:

Product > Prices & Taxes > Restrictions > + (add) > fill-in quanity you require as a minimum > OK > Save product

Works great, buying 3 automatically uses the lower price. Plus, if you then add another single item, it is smart enough to also charge the new lower price for that one.
