Exclude Certain Attributes from Coupon Discount Calculation

If you activate the "coupon percentage applies to product only" setting of the coupon, it will calculate the value of the coupon based on the products matching with either the "products" or the "categories" setting of the coupon.
So for example suppose that you have two categories: "main products" and "options".
And in the "main products" category you have the products "product A" and "product B".
And in the "options" category you have the products "option A" and "option B".
If you configure a coupon restricted to the "main products" category with that "coupon percentage applies to product only" setting activated, then only the price of the "product A" and "product B" in the cart will be taken into account and the "option A" and "option B" prices will be ignored even if they are added to the cart as options of their main products.

What do you mean by "By the way, the attributes are custom plugins." ?
Are you talking about the options ?
How are these plugins coded ?
If the plugins add the attributes in a way that prevents the coupon system from discarding them, then there is not much you can do with the options available in HikaShop.
In that case, it would require a custom plugin to handle the calculation of the amount of the coupon. The events we have available in the HikaShop Coupon API can be used for that:
