Hi guys,

For in the Netherlands it is great to have the MyParcel plugin from Joomill, though MyParcel changes there api.
I am willing to pay extra for the plugin if you maintain this instead of Joomill.

So i hope you guys will takeover this plugin :-D.

I can imagine that something like this is handy for all carriers :-)
A good part will be that you can add a tracking link in the emails so people can track their package.

Wish you a great day!

Hi,

Takeover the plugin from Joomill is not possible. It will require rewritting completely the plugin for the new API.

From what I understand, the plugin from Joomill allows for two things:
- get shipping status from the backend order listing
- send the order data to myparcel and get back the label PDF
Am I correct ?
From what I understand the shippin options were selected in the backend while sending the order data to myparcel.
I see that there is also this: myparcelnl.github.io/checkout/sandbox/
Apparently, it allows for the customer to select the shipping he wants during the checkout.
But apprently, the API that needs to be implemented to replicate what was there with the Joomill plugin is this one:
myparcelnl.github.io/api/
which has a PHP SDK here:
github.com/myparcelnl/sdk

Now we can work on such plugin, but it would cost several hundred of euros of development fees.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for your reply.
I agree it must be takeover because of the new Api.

I am investigating how many need this plugin and what functions they need.
So give me some time and i will come back.

This is what for me is enough:
For me selecting multiple orders and saying send to My Parcel all together is enough.
In the main settings i would like to have a setting from My Parcel if it is a small package (envelop mail) or a package (not fit in mailbox).
If it is easy a setting per order to change that would be nice.

Hi Nicolas,

At this moment the time is short to create this plugin.
MyParcel will stop working in 10 days.

So this is MyParcel and Woocommerce.
I could send you the php files if you want.

I would like a time estimate (is this fast possible?)
And a raw price indication.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

10 days is short.
However, if I start working on it rapidely, it is possible to finish it in time. I think that I can do it in a week.
What I would do is:
- add a main button on the orders listing so that you can export the selected orders to myparcel
- add a main button on the orders listing so that you can print the labels of the selected orders
and the same buttons per order.
For the selection of the envelop/package, for now I think it's best to set it in the plugin and improve the plugin in the future to be able to change it per order. It shouldn't be a problem to add that later on.
I would use this SDK in the plugin: github.com/myparcelnl/sdk

What I propose is that I make a discounted price for the development so that I can provide it to you and then sell it on our marketplace to others. That way, you get the updates for free in the future and we can also recoup the costs on others in the future.
I believe that's a win for everyone.
I will need the necessary credentials to be able to work on the plugin and test it.
I would ask for the payment in advance.
Please use our contact form to talk further on that so that I can give you the price and you can provide the credentials etc:

Hi,

We indeed got delayed a bit as this was a pressing matter. The release won't be this week, but it should be at the beginning of July.
