I've been working in a text filter, my idea is input the search of a product in this box search, click on filter button and show the products related. I've been reading the forum and I find not my need. Could you guide me? B)

Hi,

You just have to create a new filter with the type text, select the main product category, and apply the filter on the product name and product alias, enable "including sub categories" option to filter in every product categories and then create a new module with the type HikaShop filter.

Then you can display this module anywhere, and it will display only the products related to the search made.

B) I followed your instructions without success, it seem clear but it's not functioning.
It say: I enter at backend of joomla, I click on components>hikashop(business 2.2.2), then click on display>filter, I created a filter type "text"; I created a Hikashop filtering module to a "position-a", it assigned the module at a menu on all page to avoid problems, the search box is appearing, I enter a search but it's not showing nothing.¿what can it be?
I make a change at your instructions doing click on system>configuration>display and seem functioning however the styles are defficients, i did this but i do not understand because is functioning. I will like obtain more clarity about of my problem, other hand, is possible to write text on the search box and automatically the system go looking for categories or products (java)?

Thanks to give us a screenshot of your filter configuration.

To search without clicking there is an option for that in the filter options "Submit on click".
