Hello!
The problem is with filters.
I have a site with several manufactures, categories and products.
I created a page that displays all the products of the specific category (for example, mobile phones) of the all manufacturers. On this page I've created a filter by manufacturers. And when I select in this filter to display only one needed manufacturer, the page is reloaded and it displays a list of all categories of my site and all products of the selected manufacturer (from all categories).
The filtering by price has the same problem too.
What do you think, what's the problem?
I make this site with Denwer, so I can't give you a link.

I have understand the reason of that problem. The Products Listing (hikashop-menu-for-products-listing )in the Content Menus was turned off. And now the filter is working, but not as I want.
Imagine the page that shows all products of two brands from the Category 1. When I check the filter by Brand 1 - after this the page shows all the products of this brand, but from all the categories.
Do you understand me?

The filter started working properly after I did a few filter modules in Jooomla Module Manager - for each category separatly, pointing ID of hikashop product listing menu for each filter module.
Is it right? Should I continue to create separate filters for each category? I think it needs a filter that would be able to filter out the right on the page.

Hi,

Yes actually it is the right way of doing that.
Another solution could be to add custom code to force a filter depending on the category.
But it require good php knowledge and custom coding.

Thanks for the help!
I have one more question. I use the plugin YJ Image Slider 4 to display slides on pages with products. But it disappears after the page reloads with the filtered products. What do you think?

It's probably that the menu item that it selected by its id in the "menu" option of your filter module is not checked in the menu assignement option of your module.

Thank you!
My filter works properly now, but there is a small problem. Maybe the reason is not in Hikashop, but you can give me idea for fixing it.
There is a list of products with a pictures on the page before filtering. The titles of the products are in gray colors. When I put a cursor on the title, it becomes orange. When the picture is reloaded with the filtered products, the titles change color vice versa - they are orange, and with the cursor they are gray. I revised all the styles, .php and .css files, but found nothing. After the filtering this page uses the same .css files as before, but in reverse order as I noticed.
And what is the problem i don't know... :(

Hi,
The problem is probably coming from a CSS code property, can you give me a link to the page where you are having your issue ?

Hi there,

I'm having a bit trouble with this too.

I need to have the filter module to appear only in a specific product list and I can do that just adding a menu > product list and choose the right Category. Then pointing the ID in the module.

My problem is that when I'm on the Category List page (home page of the site) and I click in one category, the filter module won't appear. This problem occurs the same way if I click in one Category from the Category Module.

I don't know If I was to clear width this explanation, could you help me pleasE?
