add "Coming Soon" to filter result

I created a filter to shop by brand which works fine, however not all of my brands have product yet. Is the a way to have "Coming Soon" appear in the the filter result for brands without product.

The solution will probably be to create and use a product custom field (coming soon or not) through "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields", and to create and use a filter based on the value of this custom field.

Well that's close...however, how do I limit the filter to specific brands.
