Product Search Plugin issue on Multilingual site

Hi,

We've set up our shop with 2 different languages. When trying to configure the Hikashop Product Search Plugin, we ran into a problem. Our site has language specific menus (not falanged), which means we have 2 different itemid's for our shop. One is in the English menu and one in the Spanish menu.

Now, when we put the itemid for the Spanish hikashop menuitem into the hikashop product search plugin, the search results that are being shown when using the search function in the English section, all result in 404's, because they include an alias that can not be reached while working in English (language-switched). Of course, the same thing happens the other way around when we use the English itemid; Spanish search results will link to an unavailable alias, all resulting in 404's.

Workaround:
The only way to get around this, is to make sure the alias of both the English and Spanish shop are the same. Then search will work as it should, but of course... it's not the best solution, because it forces us to use Spanish words in English urls (or the other way around).

Just thought I'd share this. It might help someone or maybe someone knows another solution. I'd be happy to hear!
