Hi,
I'm verry new to Hikashop, it's easy to use and i found allot already.
But i have a little ploblem with diplaying the search results.

On one picture you see my normal layout with my product listing.
On the other picture you see the search display.

Is there a easy way to show the search results the same way that i display my product list?

Greetz.

Hello,
The search module is a Joomla module, so the solution will probably be to use some code customization to do that, which will require some development skills.

Another solution can be to use filters through a filter module, so your products will directly be displayed like your product listing :

Hi,
I found this one also in the afternoon :-)
But i'm waiting for respons.
I senden a email in the afternoon with the "contact us" form to ask for a demo version.
Cause the filter system is only in the Business edition :-)
But if it works fine like i need, it's problem to pay the price for it :-)
But just like to test it with my data that i have cause it's not easy on the hikashop demosite to test cause time by time it's restored back.

Hi,

We do not have demo version of HikaShop business.
HikaShop starter is totally free and like you mentioned, we have a demo website where you can test HikaShop as you want (even if the website is reset every 3 - 4 hours).
We also have a 30 days money back guarantee.

By the way, do not send me private message, use the "contact us" form instead.

I now have the busines version.
But i'm still little confusion about it.

I have filter now and it's works but i have few questions.
-Is it possible to auto remove the name (Ham) again? go if you have the result that you direcylt can looking for another query?
-Can you make the filter looking over more catagory's?
Cause if look for a product from another catagory then the one where i'm now, it don't find the product.

Hi,

1. I think that you can turn off the deletable option of your filter for that.
2. If you want a multiple selection filter, it's possible. You can use a checkbox filter for that.
3. If you want your filters to display results regardless of the page where you were before, you can turn of the filter display option of your products listing, and instead configure the hikashop filters module with the "force redirect" option turned on so that it displays the results on a products listing of all the products and thus it filters the products regardless of the category you were on. That also allow you to display the filter search module on pages where you don't have any products and in the position you want.
