Filter product code from characteristic?

I have a filter and the filter apply search on all options, but there is no product code from characteristic included, it's possible to include it in search?

This will require some core file edition, because in the listings we can only display the main products.
So even if the variant product code is found we can't display the variant.

One thing could be to edit the code to get the parent product when searching for the variant product code.
This require good PHP knowledges. I think that a plugin can do the job, here is the documentation on how to make a plugin:

Hi Xavier, we use HikaShop Business: 2.3.4 and want search by product code. We are not programer to make plugins, and for that reason we take the Business version of yours product. We expect some sollutions, to serch by produkt code

It does not have to show the specific variant only, just the main product, but would be good if in some way, it would be able to filter main product if variant version also matches the search product_code

wouldn't it be possible to do this automatic on variant editing ?
