-- url of the page with the problem -- : 192.145.236.201/~rgindustries/index.php/...category/50-square-d
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.6
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.22
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 32

Strange and somewhat disturbing thing I discovered tonite. Almost all of the products in my search listing pages are linked to the wrong product view page. If you pull up a manufacturer search listing page, for instance (see attached link), the third product down on the page is linked to the wrong product. However, if you hover over an area about 25 pixels to the RIGHT of the product name, (in a blank white area), then there is a link that is correctly linked to the product. What on earth would cause this? Has anybody experienced this? How do i fix it?

I didn't totally understood your issue can you give me more information about it through some screenshots for example so that I can understand and test it on my end ?
Thanks.

Yes. Attached are two screenshots that will show you the issue. If you go to 192.145.236.201/~rgindustries/index.php/...category/50-square-d
and choose the third product in the list, you will see it happen. If you click the product, it will take you to the wrong product!! It takes you to the product above it. But there is a little area where you can click and the link will be correct.

I thought it was a template issue so i switched templates. Same thing.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!!!!

Thanks

Hi,

It's your badges (the images with the recycling logo and "Reconditioned: text), which are part of the link wrapping the product image. They are so large that they are covering also the product image and most of the name of the product below. If you disabled the badges, you'd see that all works fine and as you could expect.

Make the badge smaller: crop the image, so all the unnecessary space which is transparent anyway is cut off, then replace your current badge image with the new smaller one.

You're a genius for figuring that out. Incredible. Thats exactly what it is, and makes sense.

Thanks again.

You're welcome.

Get your head around using Firebug or a comparable browser console, and be a genius yourself! B)
