Hi,

I have setup a filter, however, the search results are always the same, just seem to show categories with pagination that doesn't work? There are no products that are shown.

When using the default joomla search I get an SQL error.

Please help :)

Thanks.

Hi,

1. In your hikashop filter module, in the "menu" option, you entered the id of a menu item of the type "hikashop category listing" instead of entering the id of a menu item of the type "hikashop product listing". That's why you don't get any result with the filter module.

2. For the query issue, that's because in the "columns" option of the HikaShop search plugin, that you can configure via the Joomla plugins manager, you entered the name of a column "content" which doesn't exist anymore. Remove it and you wont' get the error.

Hi,

If you have set the item id of a product listing menu able to list all the products of the shop, so that must be working.
Please give us a link to a page with the filter in order to have mode informations.

Hi,

Sorry about the late reply to this. Unfortuantely as business goes other things sometimes take priority.

I have made the filter search live on all pages: fancydresshut.com/index.php

I can't get it to show the results at all. Yes I have added the correct ItemID to display the results but it keeps just displaying the categories?

Thanks,

Hi,

I fixed the issue. To anyone who may be having the same problem here is my solution.

On the module setting of the filter you need to specify the ItemId of the search result page. That itemId has to be of type hikashop and the "Type of Content" will need to be what you want the results to be. So if you want the results to be categories then select Category, if product then Product. I had done all this an still couldn't get it to work. My solution was to change "Type of layout" to something other than "inherit" as that doesn't seem to work.

Many thanks!
