Hikashop filter on joomla smart search

Hi,
is there a way to have a filter on joomla smart search?
I'd like a joomla filter to search directly only on the hikashop products.
I mean an Hikashop filter to insert on the joomla smart search module.

What do you means with "Joomla smart search" ?
I know the Joomla search module but I don't see any "smart search" feature.

Hi,
on joomla 3. if you click on component you'll find smart search. (joomla smart search)
If you click on smart search you can create a search filter.
You can use that filter on the joomla search module.
I'd like a filer only to search the hikashop products.

Hi,

The feature "smart search" in Joomla is mostly there to provide an auto-completion during the search.
But the system does not handle too much entries in his index database (when you have thousand and products with hundred of words in your description, it creates millions elements in the index database).
The Joomla smart search also require special "finder" plugin...

We recommend you to use some search extension like "rokajaxsearch" which provide same kind of features but using the classical "search" plugins and not the special "finder" one.

I'd imagined that to do that it was necessary an hikashop plugin .
In fact, in the index content of the smart search component there is no product of the hikashop online store.
Maybe you can put this in the todo list? ;)
Meanwhile I'm going to try the rokajaxsearch extension.

I'm sorry but like I wrote in my previous message, we won't develop a "finder" plugin for the integration with the indexed search of Joomla.
