Hi! I encounter a problem with a filter on custom fields.
Setup:
1) A single dropdown custom field "Amount of seats" applied on a category with sub categories
2) Two types of product - with 2 and 3 seats
3) Filter, type checkbox, applied on Custom fields in same category with "Amount of seats" as a custom field chosen.
4) Submit on click, Dynamic display - both on

So I've got this filter on the front-end, but whichever checkbox I click I always get the same - listing of all products without any filtering

Desperately need your help!

Hi,

It seems that there is a problem with the namekey of your filter in the database.
Could you try to delete it and recreate it with an English name from the start (it seems that it was created with a Cyrillic name first) ?

no, the namekey was initially in English, only Russian label
I did try to delete it and recreate again before I posted a question here.
And the problem remains for all custom fields. The only working filters are Price range (cursor) and Brands checkboxes

And what is an ITEM table (when you create a custom field) ? I tried to search through the database but with no luck

Sometimes it's wiser to search through the documentation rather than the database. ;)

Hi,

Could you provide a backend access and a FTP access and a link to this thread via our contact form so that we could look more in depth into the problem ?

Hi,

I've checked your backend but didn't see any "amount of seats" field or filter. They all had a Cyrillic name.
But you said that you had the same problem with all the filters configured on custom fields.
So I've checked with the "МАТЕРИАЛ СИДЕНЬЯ" one.
It seems to be configured properly and the field associated to it too.
I've then looked on your frontend and the filter seemed to work fine as well:
When I arrive on the listing, I see all the products:
take.ms/gFjvy
If I select a value in the filter, I then see the product listing refresh with only the relevant ones:
take.ms/aYLP5
take.ms/VD4F3

Thank you! Somehow it started to work correctly yesterday. Have no clue what was the reason though
