problem in opening a product searched

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.5
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.40

I have a search option in my site . When i search for a category i i see the category and go to the category when clicked on it.
but when i search for a product i get the results but when i click on the product the url of the product is appended by "component/search" which results in 404 not found.
"xyz.com/component/search is my url for search page but why does it get added to the product URL

Yeah that was the problem and the solution worked for me!!! Thnx for the help
