How to restrict search result to registered users

Hi

I have been using the Hikashop business version for 2 weeks and so far it is not different to use and the layout fits well with my template without much need of modification. I have an issue with the search result, I published the joomla search module and have the Hikashop search plugin published. i want to know is there a way i can restrict unregistered user from searching the categories and products. Currently, I am hiding the Hikashop from unregistered users by changing the access level of the module to "registered", so only registered users can shop. However, i find out that unregistered user can use the search and locate the product which he or she is not supposed to see. any idea or is there other way of restricting unregistered user to access the shop?

Hi,

You can apply the access level restrictions on the menu used by the plugin "HikaShop products search plugin" (in the option ItemID). That way even if the guest customer can see the results, he will not be able to reach any products.

Another way could be to apply the access levels on the categories and products directly.
