-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.45
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : IE, Firefox

Hello,

I want to use the filter module of Hikashop as a search function in smart style (with description an picture) because the standard joomla search cannot do this.

I created a filter (Text) including the productcategory an all subitems with the options search "all". And I created a module over joomla to show it on page.

The problem is that it is just showing the four elements in the product categorie (without sub categories) and the text field has no impact on what it is showing. For example, one product is calling green slippers, when I enter green in the filter "text" he is always showing all the products of the categorie.
Is this a config problem or a bug?

Thanks fir help

Hi,

It seems that you didn't enter the id of a HikaShop products listing menu item in the "menu" setting of your filter module. So please do that.
It's probably why it doesn't work.
Otherwise, please provide a screenshot of the settings of your filter and of your module so that we get a better understanding of the situation.

Hello,

you were right with the ID.

I was able to create the module and to show the results "sorted by categorie".
But I don't wont people to see the title of the filtre on the main page. (people do not need to change filtering)

What I mean is the the text "Filter" and "Recherche produits" in the middle of the page (see printscreen).
The search box/module on the right side is ok with the search function, but I do not want the filter on the result page.

thanks for check

Hi,

In that case, edit your menu item (the one you got the id from to put in your filter module) via the Joomla menu manager, and turn off the "filters" setting under the "products options" tab.

Hello,

thanks it work for the search "results".
And to hide the filter on all the product pages, I turned the filter off in the main configuration of hika shop (configuration/view/product settings)

Thanks
