Search by product title only

-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.6

Is it possible to search by product title only, so that the product description is ignored?

Hi,

Sure.
If you're using filters for that, edit the filter you're using for the search and only select the product_name field in the "Apply on" option.
If you're using the search system of Joomla, edit the HikaShop products search plugin via the Joomla plugins manager and select only the "product_name" field in the option "Fields".
