Hi, I am inheriting an ecommerce site with hikashop. So I didn't personally build the site and I am not very familiar with hikashop.
The site is www.tuttobrasileiro.com
On this site the hikashop search plugin is enabled.
1) As a search is made the user get a result page with a list of all products found. We need that also the image of the product is displayed and not only the title or description. I already saw some topics about this on the forum, but I am not sure if I understand right: displaying images of procucts in result serach page is only possibile in commercial version of hika? Or how is it possible?
2) in search result page the search form is displayed again before the results. is it possible to place this at the bottom, after the results?

Thanks
Marco

Hi,

1. You're using the Joomla search system. The Joomla search system uses a view of "com_search", the search component of Joomla, and it doesn't handle the display of the images.
You have three possibilities:
- You don't use the Joomla search system and use instead a HikaShop text filter:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...-filter-listing.html
The filter system is only available in the Business edition, but the advantage is that it uses a HikaShop products listing for the display of the results, allowing you to display the results just like your other products listings.
- You modify the views of the Joomla search component to display the images. For example, after looking a bit online:
www.phoca.cz/documents/15-phoca-gallery-...oomla-search-results
- You use another search extension which supports images display and is compatible with the standard Joomla search system.

2. The Joomla search doesn't support that. I guess you would have to further customize the views of the Joomla search component.
If you decide to go with the HikaShop filter system, you can have the filter module display at the top and at the bottom, that's not a problem. It's just a matter of setting up the modules the way you want.
