Hi there,

We recently upgrade to Hikashop 3.0 Beta, and since the upgrade the frontend of our store is inaccessible. You can see the items, but they appear behind what could be describe as a transparent area, and cannot be clicked on. If edits are made to the appearance of the store, you can see the changes to the shop, but still cannot click on products or categories. Screenshot is attached.

Our shop was working before the upgrade, and no configuration settings have been altered. Any insight as to what may be causing this will be appreciated?

Also, the screenshot supplied is a 'category' view of the store, but various products are still listed below. How can I make it so ONLY categories are seen on this landing page and no individual products?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This indicates a missing </div> in one of the view files on your website.
First, we need to identify if it comes from the default views of HikaShop 3 or a view override of your template.
Do you have the folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop on your website ?
If you do, and if you rename that folder, does it still display like that ?

If you still have the problem after renaming that folder, of ir you don't have that folder, it means that the problem is in the default views of HikaShop 3. It will be necessary to identify the one causing the problem.
I'm guessing it could one of these four:
- the listing or listing_div files of the view "product"
- the listing or listing_div files of the view "category".
You can find them via the menu Display>Views.
Try to add a </div> at the bottom of them one by one in order to identify the one with the problem.

If you don't have the problem after renaming that folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop , it means that the issue comes from one of the view overrides. Rename the view files in the folders templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product and templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/category one by one in order to identify the file with the problem.
