Hello, I currently have installed the virtual store on a VPS server. Do not know if it is the subject of Apache, PHP or what will be, if for example I have to upload (import) 4900 products with a CSV file, the process is done well , but when the product number 4899 , apparently the website is blocked arrives.

The only way I can know if the products have been fully or not into the database is to enter PHP My Admin , empty tables " hikashop_price ", " hikashop_product " and " hikashop_product_category " before performing the import , then making the importation of data from HikaShop and occasionally be updated in view of the database in PHP My Admin, until you see the tables " hikashop_product " and " hikashop_product_category " that 4899 products have been introduced ( as the last curiously never entered) .

So the problem causing me is that I have to disable the web in Joomla every time I want to update the products (so that users can not access the virtual store) , delete the tables in the database, import and reactivate the eShop.

I wanted to know if it is possible to put a progress bar in HikaShop > Products > Import , it is not necessary to have to empty tables in the database every time I want to import products to know where the product will load .. .

If not, I would not be forced to continue doing so, or calculate about 40 minutes to import everything and close the import window, praying that have been imported all the data ...

Is it possible to add a progress bar to indicate what the status of the import? Do you know any way to configure Apache or PHP or whatever so that the load of 4000 products do not take but about 40 minutes less time?

Thanks for your help, greetings.

Hi,

Adding a progress bar is not possible easily.

If the import takes 40 minutes, the issue is probably with your CSV which can probably be simplified. The more you remove in it the faster it will get.

Okay, try to split the file into several pieces (eg 2,000 in 2,000 rows) to see if the website is not blocked and I can tell when I've finished uploading all the data.

Thank you.
