import supplies comprehensive product list-xml,csv

We are evaluating this shop as an altenative to redshop. Is there some clear documentation on field required, possible automation of import of 5000 row product list with the headings below

Code, Man.Code/SKU, Manufacturer, Category, Description, RRP Inc., Your Buy Ex. GST, Available (Qty), Category Name, Extended Description, DotPoints (main features), Thumbnail(URL), StdImage(URL location), LgeImage(URL), Location , Weight, UnitMeasure (WxHxL), Status of stock, StatusNo (0-4), ETA(date)

Hi,
The best solution will probably be to :
- Create some products manually
- Export your products through a CSV files
- Add your 5000 products through that CSV file
- Import your CSV file back.
