I need to migrate my MijoShop install into ANYTHING ELSE...HikaShop looks very promising so I'd like to try it. The problem is that I have a LOT of products and such in the MijoShop install.

Here is where the requirement for the thread comes from...

I am unable to access the administration of MijoShop because MijoSoft are completely evil and don't give a d*** about their customers. I have fatal errors in the component that I had to fix myself because I was out of subscription and MijoSoft refused to do anything about it. Once I fixed the fatal errors, I tried to login to the Administration of the component and it wouldn't let me login and I tried everything I could think of. I spent a week of trying to get anyone from MijoSoft to help me with the login issue but they kept ignoring me and then threatened to ban me if I didn't stop asking...they never answered my question so I refused to stop asking unless forced...so they banned me.

The reason I am telling you this is that I have no ability to export anything from the component as I have no access to the component. I can export the data from the SQL but I need to know if there is a tutorial or something on what needs to be done in order to make it compatible with the HikaShop import/database.

I could probably figure it out myself but after dealing with those dbags I just don't have the patience so I was hoping that you would be willing to at least point me in the right direction.

I never thought I would experience worse customer support than AT&T but MijoSoft certainly surpassed AT&T in utter garbage support and being total dbags.

Hi,

If you want to migrate from MijoShop to HikaShop, you can install HikaShop on your website and after the wizard, you can go in the menu Products->Import, select the "import from MijoShop" option and click on the "import" button and follow the procedure. It will import the data of MijoShop directly from the database so it doesn't matter if MijoShop itself is working or not.

Holy crap was that easy...I didn't expect it to be that easy but it was probably the easiest large data migration I've ever had to do. Thank you very much for that.
