Dear all,

I have a custom filed = catalog number.
Field type = Text.

When exporting the .csv file the catalog numbers of the products won't show the zero number when it is in the first number (for example catalog number 0100 = 100).

This happens as-well when we use the code filed it won't show the zero number when it is in the first number (for example code 0100 = 100).

Please advice,
M

Hi,

I did a test on my end but I'm not able to reproduce the problem.
Are you sure that it doesn't come from your CSV editor software which converts the numbers automatically when it opens the CSV file ?
If you open the CSV with Notepad++, do you see the numbers like you would expect ?

Hi
True, Notepad++ does open the csv with 0 in the begining but it does not save csv format and therfore have no use for me. I need to update my HIKASHOP oroducts from a diferent program that produces eather excel or ASCII formats and i have many products that starts with -0-.

Hi,

I think that the csv editor can be set up to handle the entries starting by "0".
Or you can potentially try to use libreoffice or openoffice and see if they manage that.
