Virtuemart 3 migrate problem

Virtuemart 3.0.6


Hi everyone,
I'm trying to migrate my virtuemart shop to hikashop but unfortunately encountering some difficulties.
Everything seems to work except for my products, they are all imported but not with the images.
I have imported around 1100 products and only 10/20 have there images correctly assigned to them.
The rest has this error where the thumbnail should be in the product overview:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\polytest\administrator\components\com_hikashop\views\product\tmpl\listing.php on line 182

Anyone an idea on how to fix this??

Hi,

The VirtueMart import has not been tested with VirtueMart 3 on our end yet and so issues like that are totally possible.
Check that the images are in the folder images/com_hikashop/upload. If not, move them there via FTP. That might be enough to fix the problem. Otherwise, You might need to add the images manually in the products.

Thanks for your quick respond.
I have no tried importing from virtuemart 2.6.6 on a joomla 2.5.28 site.
It has the same result, also at the top of the product overview i get this message:

The GD library for thumbnails creation is installed and activated on your website. However, it is not configured to support images. Please make sure that you're using a valid image extension and contact your hosting company or system administrator in order to make sure that the GD library on your web server supports the image extension
