Hi,

During the VirtueMart import, if you use the "VM2" import, there is a dropdown which ask for the language for the import.
VirtueMart store the product details into several tables and one of these tables is depending on a language code.
So if you do not import with the right language, the import will just have access to one part of the product details ; but without the other part, the import do not have enough data to create the product in HikaShop.

About VirtueMart 3 ; we know that the import is not perfect because the VM structure is changing a lot.
Our import has been designed for VM1 ; then we made a new import for VM2 and that last one could be compatible with VM3 ; but we had some bug feedback and we introduced some patches in the last versions of HikaShop.
That's why we don't officially support VM3 for the import but it should work (and it did work).

Hi thanks for that. I have just noticed, the products have been transferred over but they have not been put into categories and have no images attached to them.

Does the above still apply?

OK so this is VM3 so the import:
Messed all the categories up
Put every product in the root directory and not in the categories
All images are blank.
Never imported prices

Can we give you the login details to take a look at this please. We bought HikaShop business on the understanding that we could import from VirtueMart

Thanks
