Hi,

The format for the feed is actually similar to the google products feed.
So you can try generating the feed with the HikaShop Google Products plugin:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/8...google-products.html
So it should be possible to set that up in Facebook.

Dear Nicolas

Is there a plan for hikashop for the Facebook Dynamic Ads plugin since Facebook is now the major advertising platform for e-commerce

We work with our clients to provide customized FB Pixel Event integration for HikaShop stores. This enables you to use dynamic ads and retargeting because event information like SKU, product name, etc. are all sent to FB, adapted to your unique site structure and needs. We're also working with one of our white label clients to add the Advanced Matching for FB users in the next two weeks.

If you are interested in partnering with Polished Geek for marketing automation and eCommerce CRO of your HikaShop store, please get in touch at PolishedGeek.com/clients/contact.php

Hi,

I suppose that you're talking about a plugin which would implement the ViewContent, AddToCartand Purchase events so that they would be tracked by Facebook.
We didn't have any plan for that so far as we didn't know about that.

Now apparently PolishedGeek already has something for that. So I would also recommend you contact them.
And maybe they could release something generic, (commercial I suppose ?) for others to be able to do that ?

Hi, Nicolas -

That's correct, we've custom developed FB Pixel Event integration to support our clients who have ongoing marketing retainer relationships with us.

There are no plans right now for us to create or support a generic downloadable extension. Custom FB integration is our focus, so we can send a rich set of parameters for FB Events that matter to each store owner for their marketing goals and how they plan to use FB Dynamic Ads. FB Pixel Event integration is just one part of our digital marketing services where we work hand in hand with the client each month to improve their eCommerce store conversion rates & revenue ( I actually think we may be the only authorized HikaShop partner who provides eCommerce CRO for HikaShop services).

Hi,

Just to help @ This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

This don't need any custom integration. Use google product plugin to feed facebook catalog and add facebook pixel codes to your hikashop display views. It takes 1-2 hours to do all of this. No need to custom development. All works fine for us!

Thanks

Yep, I agree if you only want to trigger the basic standard FB events, it's not terribly difficult to add the FB Pixel code into all the different view overrides. It just completely depends on what you want to do with your FB campaigns (what parameters you want to send, custom events, etc.)

Dear Nicolas

It is not about the Facebook pixel, it can be added easily

It is about product feed, which the format is not compatible

Hi,

Please read my previous message. You can use google product plugin and generate product feed xml file. It is fully compatible with facebook!

1.Add facebook pixel codes.
2.Enable google product plugin, configure it. Use cron job to generate it automatically every day or hour.
3. Give facebook url of the product feed xml file....
4. Job done....

Thanks

As it looks like that facebook products have more options now:
like condition (new, refurbished ...)
the "google product feed" plugin from hikashop does have also the option to include the product condition. google merchant center can read this BUT facebook does not.
it would very useful if the xml feed could be compliant with the facebook standards too
are there any considerations to bring a "facebook product feed" only or extend the "google product feed"?!

Hi,

If you have a recent version of HikaShop, edit the Google Products plugin via the Joomla plugins manager and you'll see the option "Product Condition" where you can enter "new" and the feed will then contain that information.

Hi,

I don't understand why you're saying this. The Facebook documentation on this subject does mention that "condition" field with the exact same values as Google's documentation (search for "condition"):
developers.facebook.com/docs/commerce-platform/catalog/fields/
The thing is Facebook implemented the same fields as Google so that the same XML can be used. So normally, there should be no need for another XML for Facebook.

Hi,

As far as I can see in the code, the price format is the same as what's described in the documentation link you gave.
How is the format different on your end ? Could you provide more information on that ?
You don't get a point as the decimal separator ?

With scheduled feed, the currency used is the one you selected in the "main currency" setting of your Hikashop configuration.
So if that's incorrect, that means that you have an incorrect currency selected there ?
