Shipping error mesages on Login - Register page

First, I would like to say that you guys are doing a great job with a great product and wonderful support. I think we have just about got this installation of Hikashop fine tuned except for one issue. I hope I´m not repeating a topic, but searching I could not find it. Please consider the following scenario: A customer comes to the site and adds some items to the cart, but he has not logged in. He then hits the checkout button of the cart and the page with the options of login or register comes up. The issue of concern is that the first thing that the customer sees on this page is a message repeated 3 times that the “items weight too small for shipping methods” and that no shipping method is available. These messages are not relevant to the situation and should not be displayed here. This gives the customer a very negative impression of the site. How do I remove these messages from this page. Please see attachment for a print screen of the page. Thanks

Hi there,

Could you please send us a screenshot of your shipping methods?
I guess the problem come from this but the message shouldn't be displayed 3 times. It simply indicate that you don't have a shipping method able to handle this order. Also, try to download the language file again because it should be translated.

Hi. First let me clarify a little bit about the situation in which this message appears. It only happens if a user hits the checkout button without being logged in or is not registered and so in effect is not able to log in. It only appears on the page that comes up if a person hits the checkout button without being logged in, where he is presented with the option to log in or register. If the user ignores the messages and continues to log in or register everything continues ahead without any problem and the transaction can be completed. If the same user is logged in when he hits the checkout button everything works correctly, the shipping and payment options based on the shipping address are presented and the transaction can be completed without problems or errors. I can make screen shots, but since I had to basically make shipping rate/weight/zone tables using manual shipping methods, there are around 40. Be your PM for the site log in so you can take a look yourself.
Update: I updated the spanish language file from your website, but the error messages still come up in English.

I think that we already fixed this issue, so can you re-download the last hikashop version through our website, install it, and test it again ?

Just went through my account on your website, downloaded the latest business version, installed and tested my site and the same messages are coming up and still in English after I have also reinstalled the latest spanish files from Hikashop.

Hello,
On 25 August I downloaded and installed : com_hikashop_business_2.2.1_2013-08-25.tar.gz
The message display has been cleaned up a little, looks a little nicer and has a message in Spanish too, actually a mix of Spanish and English:

Mensaje
The cart items combined weight is too small for all the possible shipping methods
Forma de envío no disponible

The message is still not appropriate to where it is displayed and is not true: the items in the cart are not too small for possible shipping methods. The fact that the message is displayed seems to come from the fact that the customer has not yet logged in or has not registered and therefore has not entered any information for shipping zones.
If there has to be a message at this point in the checkout it should say something like “you must log in or register to continue with the checkout” but I need it in Spanish something like “Es necesario acceder o registrar antes que pueda proceder con su compra”
How can I accomplish this.

Hi,

You have two solutions:

1. You change your checkout workflow in the configuration as to now have the shipping methods selection displayed on the same step as the login/registration forms but on the step after.

2. You change the translations of these error messages. You can do that like explained here:
