Choose 8 products for $45

I'm interested to know if anyone has ever created the option in their store whereby a customer can select 8 products for a flat fee.
My store sells food products. I am trying to configure my store so customers can choose from a series of products to create their box of 8 products.
Example:
2x product A
1x product B
3x product C
2x product D

---

8 products = $45

The customer must purchase a box of 8 products. They cannot purchase 7 or 9. Can this be done by using checkbox selection or drop down fields? Curious...

If anyone knows of an easy way to create this functionality would be helpful.

Hi,

What you can do is create option products.
Create a product with a characteristic which is the list of all your products. Create 8 products of this type.

Then create your main product, and add the 8 previous as options.

By this way in the product page the customer will be able to select 8 products in the main product, for the price set in the main product.
