Hi,
I have a small question about an update and i haven't been able to find a similar post even if i think it probably exists, so sorry about that,
My question is: How do i upgrade the starter version to the business one, and how/if this will affect my products, their layout or css?
I have almost 500 products and i wouldn't like to add them again, as fot the css, i'm new at customising it, and it took me a huge amount of time to do so...On the other hand i really need the business version because the filters are indispensible for me.

Thanks!

So, i have found a similar thread that states i won't lose any css or overrides, o i'll do a backup and upgrade.
Another question then: Do i just install the business version over this one, via the extension manager /install in joomla?

Thank you!

Hi,

1. By updating HikaShop you won't loose any information. It will just upgrade the files and add new columns in the database if required.
Your views overrides, css overrides, language, configuration, orders, products will stay intact.

But careful if you have modified directly an HikaShop file and you didn't use the backend interface for that. Because you could loose your modifications.

2. Sure you'll just have to install it through the Joomla extension manager
