Whenever I try and change the default image, I get the following when I save
"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Hi,

The HikaShop configuration form contains a lot of fields (a lot of data).
When you want to include a file in the form submission, some server have limitation/restriction and they does not like receiving so much data.
When you upload a file, the form is not submitted in the same format than without a file, it consumes more data.

It is planned to separate the upload part form the configuration (like I did for HikaMarket) but for the moment, you will have to upload the file manually and change the value in the database (or find a server without this limitation/restriction).

Hi,

Yes, the permissions is a good thing to check.
Can you give us a screenshot of your entry in the database, of the file in the folder (with the path indicated) and the permissions of that file ?

Please note that if the image is named something else than bardcode.png it needs to be uploaded in the media/com_hikashop/upload folder as the media/com_hikashop/images folder is wiped out during each install/update of HikaShop by joomla.
