Hello,
I have downloaded the Hikashop starter package called com_hikashop_starter_2.2.2_2013-11-1009.tar.gz. I then tried to use Joomla's Extension Manager to upload this file and received an error message, "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8099841 bytes) in /usr/home/troutcreek/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php on line 421". I'm assuming that it ran out of memory but don't know how to increase memory. I looked on Joomla's Global Configuration and on the hosting service's account control center, to no avail.
I then tried to unzip it with 7-Zip into a folder called hikashop. It only extracted one file called com_hikashop_starter_2.2.2_2013-11-1009.tar (without the .gz extension). I tried this several times. I expected to see individual files extracted, but all it showed was the one file. I read the instructions "Install via FTP" but I haven't attempted it because there is only one "extracted" file. Should there be more than one file?
I've never worked with .tar or .gz files. I've only used .zip files with Joomla's Extension Manager, so I need a little help...
