Is there a way a customer can print their invoice?

Thanks.

Yes. You can turn on the option "Allow users to print invoices on the front end" in the configuration for that.

Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for the reply. The only thing I found in the configuration section was "Allow users to print their cart ". Wnen switched to yes it didn't seem to do anything. What I need is a "print invoice". Am I missing something?

Thanks for the help

It's in the Display tab. You must have missed it. Please look more carefully.

When you go in your user control panel, then click on the orders listing, then open an order, you'll have a "print" button at the top which must have appeared.

Hi Nicolas,

Yes that button did appear, however I would like a button on the font end the customer can use to print their own invoice.

thanks

That's what I'm talking about. The user control panel is accessible by the user on the frontend as long as you move it to your main menu via the joomla menus manager so that the user can access it.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for all the help. I did install the user control panel on the main menu, left it "registered" and it works fine. However what I get isn't too good. For one thing there is no print order button now. For the rest please see the attachments.

Thanks for your help on this!!

Hi,

1. It seems that you have missing css properties, and images. Thanks to check if the fontend css file is present, and if there is no other properties overriding theirs.
You can use your browser console to check that: hikashop.com/support/153.html

Are the images present in the folder "media/com_hikashop/images" ? Are the permissions to this folder correct ?

2. You can use some css to hide that. We just display the Joomla user options.
3. Is the option "Allow users to print invoices on the front end" in Configuration > Display > General display options enabled ?
4. Thanks to check with the browser console (with the same technic in 1.) if the image is present.

Hi,

I really appreciate all the help you have given me and the quick responses.
Referring to your last post, I was able to fix #1 #3and #4 Thank you!
On #2 could you tell me the css code to hide the basic settings?

One additional issue is that hikashop is not sending out confirmation emails. Could you tell me how to activate/fix that please.

Thanks again for the great help

2. No need for CSS. Simply turn off the basic options in the options of the joomla user manager.

3. HikaShop send these emails by default. If you don't receive them, it's likely that your joomla email settings (in the joomla configuration) or HikaShop email settings (in the hikashop configuration) are not configured properly. Please contact your hosting company to see with them why the emails are not received and if there is an issue with these settings and they should be able to tell you.
