I am building a new Hikashop site at scautism.org/index.php/scas-store . My difficulty is with the checkout process.

We have guest shopping only. We don't want to require a login/password, as people are always forgetting.

Upon clicking Proceed to Checkout, one gets the Guest screen to enter email, address, etc.
Click Next.
Immediately the popup in attached file extraaddress.JPG shows up.

If you fill it out, it keeps emptying and coming back up.
I x'ed out the popup, and the screen behind it is the attached file extraaddress2.JPG.

The address entered on the Guest screen did not carry over.

The sample you see is for a virtual product. It also happens for tangible products where shipping is required. (I differentiate by weight.)

My backdoor cart screens are as follows:

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

If you have the popup, it's because you are log-in in your website.
If you are not logged, you won't have any popup because you are in guest checkout and the address form is display directly in the checkout page.

More than that, your template is displaying a too large content in the popups.
That's why you can't see correctly the content in your address popup (when you are logged).
I'll recommend you to fix some CSS rules in the "component.css" file in order to fix the layout in popups.

Thank you for your response.

It does not seem to be when logged in to the website. I have ensured that I am not logged in, and in fact that no one is. I've also ensured that the email address is not in the jos_hikashop_users table, just in case.

When you first go to checkout, you DO get the screen that you attached in the screenshot. But after filling that in and clicking NEXT, the popup comes.

Thank you for the popup sizing information. I will look at the component.css file, but I'm afraid that might be above my knowledgebase.

Any other suggestions for this? The problem still exists, and no one is logged in. Thank you.

Hi,
I just tested it through your website and I'm directly facing a "Please create or select an address", did you :
- Done some modifications through your checkout workflow ? can you show me some screenshots of how you configured your "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Checkout"
- Done some modifications through some file of the address/checkout view of your front-end template through the page "Hikashop->Display->Views".
