Ok, i have site with several categories.
Lets say cat a cat b cat c
And manufactures let say a b c
I add products only in one category - cat a - for now.
I add products in only one manufacturer.
The products are in homepage and in categorys page/ and producers page
So google slowly indexing my products
And i see that they are indexing in homepage - so is good
And in category page. But i add products only in category a, and google see this product in other category....let say b.
The same problem is in producers page... so product is in producer a, but is in other producer....
PLS HELP!

Hi,

To have a better indexation, I suggest to use the canonical urls, this option is available in the product edition page and in the category edition too.

Hello :)
So i have this canonical urls in products and producers and categories :)
But how the canonical i must write
1.For homepage my product links looks like this
www.mysitename.com/produkt/productname.html
so i must add to the produkt something like this?(canonical url)
/produkt/produktname.html
2. For categories
i have this link to my categories site
mysitename.com/categories/categoryname.html
so the canonical url must be like this?
category/categoryname.html

But how to make product which is in producers page and categories page in canonical urls?
so product must have 3 canonical links? O_O

Hi,

You can set relative or absolute links. All that is needed are valid links.
To have better SEO you have to set only one url per product. Not one for each category, else you loose the benefits of the canonical url.
