Commentsection products not reacting/working

Hello after the latest update from hikashop my commentsection is not working anymore. You can ad but nothing happends.

1. Can you show me how did you configured the "Vote & Comment" tab of the page "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Features" ?
2. Can you also :
- Active the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Test it again so that we can see if it display an error message through your product page.

As requested the configuration of vote en comment in the attachment. So after that i did do what you asked and did see a report saying that something went wrong and i had to try again. Then on bottom of page there was a red box with this comment in it: JROOT/language/nl-NL/nl-NL.com_hikashop.ini : fout(en) op regel(s) 2113, 2115

It seems to be an MySQL request issue. The save is not made correctly.
Do you have edited anything regarding the vote / comment views ?

Well yes. Because in beginning it did not work eather and then you people told me to change something. After that it worked. However now after the update it does not work again. And no i dont remember what i had to change back then. Any tips about how to fix this?

Can you try to remove the editions of the views via the menu Display > Views ?
Before removing it, thanks to save your changes in an external file to have a save.

OK i changed two files:

Front-end product show_tabular after i deleted this the whole template of the tabs was away. It was all showing below each other. So i put its old code back.

Front-end product show after i deleted it no vchanges where noted. So i did try to ad a comment. again nothing happend. so i did try this error thing again.

So same thing happend. after i hit enter the commentbox showed a error saying i shoed try again. So i hit enter again. The page reloaded and i saw this code showing up on top of page:


And in red box from languaghe on bottom of page this was showing:

So i decided to do it one more time without code in first file. Maybe it was working without template... But also that did not help.

Any idea what to do now? Did i miss something?

Can you try to disable the component "proforms" there is probably a conflict with that extension or another one.
There was no changes in the comments for a while, you have probably installed or edited something since the update.

I think you are thinking the wrong way and i will explane why. after in installed hikashop the comments did not work. A collega of you helped me by some code. See this conversation. www.hikashop.com/forum/product-category-...-filter-problem.html

(he gave this to me and told where to put it) It worked fine and there was no problem with any thing. NOw it does the same as in the beginning and no new components or modules are installed. (besides the updates). I checked the code and these update code from your colleaga is still in there.

However i dont mind trying so i put disabled this component. NOthing different happend. So then i disabled the social plugin, then the translation module etc. Nothing changed. Every time i get the error: An error has acured, try again. I did try pritty much every module and plugin i could find. No change. I'm afraid somewhere in the code the link is not made as it should be. UNfortanily i dont know how this is working so i cant look into it. Any help would be apreciated.

It seems that you have a javascript error, that may cause this problem.
The error is in the file widget.js, it is related on twitter. So can you disable anything related on Twitter, and check thanks to your browser console if the error is still present.

If there is no more the error, but the comments still doesn't work, thanks to give me a backend access and a FTP access to debug the problem directly on your website.

OK i have two plugins that have twitter in it as far as i know. One for articles in the website and one for products in hikashop. I did already turn them off before and nothing changed. So i did it again and it is still not working. I did look at this widget.js thing and it looks like your own plugin is revering to this. However i dont know what to do so how can i send you acces? Is it possible you send an hikashop email to... so i can reply with the data?

When you had edited the view "vote / form" I think that you have removed the "name" attributes on the input fields and textarea.
That's why we can't get the values of the form and submit comment correctly.
