Hi,

To get all the orders data, you need of course the _hikashop_order table, _hikashop_order_product, _hikashop_history.
Then based on the informations you need, there could be the shipping and payment tables, etc.

Hi Xavier,
Based on the 3 tables you name.
hikashop_order table, _hikashop_order_product, _hikashop_history
What will user get to see when look into there history?

And do I first need to move the joomla users?
And afterwords import these tables?

What is "enough" for me is that they can see there orders and see them on screen or pdf.
Payment and shipping is less interesting

Hi,

What will user get to see when look into there history?

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.

And do I first need to move the joomla users?
And afterwords import these tables?

It depends if your users will have the same id or not, if it's a copy or a migration.
Otherwise, the order is not important, as long as you import all the required data.

Hi,
It's a bit strange. I don't receive a placed reaction of this topic.

Nevertheless,
What I mean with history.
If we use these tables will the user/customer be able to get there Original account details? such as the orders they have done.

Is it so when I do a copy the Original user will they have the same id.
And then when we copy these 3 tables will it match then?

Sorry that I ask so detailed. It is not a routinejob for me

ps I was hoping that there was some sort a import plugin like you have for import from other shops as vm and redshop

Hi,

First you need to migrate your Joomla users (there are several extensions to do that that you'll find on the JED).
Once you have the users, you can copy these tables from your old website database:
hikashop_order, hikashop_order_product, hikashop_history, hikashop_address and hikashop_user
hikashop_shipping and hikashop_payment can also be interesting so that the name of the shipping and payment methods are still available in the orders.
Then, install HikaShop and it should link users and orders together automatically. There is no issue with the ids of the Joomla users being the same or not.
It's not complex to do so there is no need for an import script and it works much better than an import script would. And yes, your customers will keep the same access to their user control panel as before with these tables.

thanks for you clear comment.
the only difference is that every thing is already installed and ready to go live.
this is the last part.
the way you describe it now is that the import has been done before installation.
Then it probably better to forget these tables.
hikashop_shipping and hikashop_payment
