-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.immigrantsvineyard.co.nz/our-wines/product/listing
-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.0 [1702141710]
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5

After doing the Hikashop 3.0.0 update, the product images on the product listing won't scale to their respective boxes. All of the images are the wrong size and are breaking the display.

This seems to be just on the Product Listing page and is the same across multiple browsers.

On the Product pages themselves, the price now also shows something called a 'Common Price'.
Common price: $26.00 Our price: $26.00 each
Where is this coming from? I can't seem to get rid of it.

The 'Common Price' does not seem to go away even if variants are selected.

Hello,

Can check that you have the Default Style, in Components => HikaShop => Configuration, and in Display tab, go to CSS part.
Have a look on your "Styles for the front-end" option, I think that for a reason or another you haven't the Default style.

See this screenshot :

Hope this will help you.

The style for the Front End had been set to BROWN.
I set it to DEFAULT as you suggested.
This fixed the image problem but really screws up the buttons. They are all white and washed out.

Are the Colour Packs no longer working now?

What about getting rid of that 'Common Price' thing?

Hi,

1. The style packs will indeed have to be redone from scratch as they are not adapted to the new HTML/CSS of HikaShop 3.
If you want the CSS of the buttons you had with your style, then edit the CSS file of your style, copy all the CSS code with the hikashop_cart_button class and paste it in the default style CSS or in your template CSS. You should get back the buttons the way they were.

2. The 'Common Price' text is normally displayed before the retail price in HikaShop.
That's how it was even before HikaShop 3. So if you didn't see it before, you must have had some customization to remove it.
You can use a translation override in order to change that text (and get nothing), or add some CSS to hide it.

OK, some things to explain then:

1) The "Common price:" text DOES NOT appear on ANY of my other HikaShop client websites even though they were upgraded to v3.0.
This text only appeared AFTER the 3.0 upgrade on this one client's install.

2) The Hikashop code on this client was not touched in any way. No customizations at all.

3) The "Common price:" text does NOT appear on their "Sampler Case" product, yet it shows on all of the other products.

4) The "Common price" text does not appear in the language override section even after searching for it.

Hi,

1. That text only appears if you've entered a retail price in the product. But that was already the case before HikaShop 3.

2. Then I don't see how you could not see that text before.

3. Because you only have a retail price for these products I suppose.

4. Yes, you need to add it there in order to change it, otherwise, you get the default text "Common price". Adding it to the override area allows you to change it if you want. That's how it has always been for translation overrides.

Ah, great! Yes, they had a put a Retail Price in the overrides section on those products.
Terrific. At least that is gone now.

When do you think the various CSS colour packs will be available?
I had those sites looking really good.

Will experiment with adding the button code.
Thank you.

Hi,

It's goign to take several months. We're working on other things at the moment. And even when we'll publish style packs for HikaShop 3, they won't be the same as the old ones. So it's best to copy/paste what you need from them, and rename the classes in the style pack to match the new classes in HikaShop 3.
