-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.veggievore.com
-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.16
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : no error messages

I just had somebody purchase something that did not want to use a Title because they were buying for a business.

Right now for the Titles for addresses I have the following for Column Name: address_title:

Mr. HIKA_TITLE_MR
Mrs. HIKA_TITLE_MRS
Miss HIKA_TITLE_MISS
Ms. HIKA_TITLE_MS
Dr. HIKA_TITLE_DR

I would like to add one to the top of the list that is blank. I tried to create one that was empty and entered a value of HIKA_TITLE_NONE but then that Title was displayed.

Can you show me how I can do this?

Thank you, Sean Carney

Thank you Jerome,

I had also tried that yesterday. What displays on the front end now is that title as the first option. I have attached an image.

Do you know if I need to edit a document somewhere to make HIKA_TITLE_NONE display a blank option?

Also, can you tell me why the system seems unable to display the proper Titles with the periods in them as we are accustomed to in the USA. Here is the formatting I am expecting:

Mr.
Mrs.
Miss
Ms.
Dr.
etc...

Here is what my backend configuration looks like now:

Hi,

I think you should go to joomla language override and add translation there. Just keep it blank or enter whatever text you need and it should work.

Hope that helps.

That worked. I now have a blank option at the top of my list.

I still would sure like to display the titles properly with the periods behind them. Any idea how to do that? Is that more language overrides?

Thanks, Sean

OK. I am fixing the titles with overrides. I hope this will fix it everywhere, including within the invoices and shipping labels that get created in the back end.

Hi,

Yes, a language override will be used everywhere.
