Hi,
My content module can only shows the products list in the category that was created before I upgrade to v3.0.1
I've tried many days, the same module just change the main category name in content module, the old category can be shown, but the new created category just doesn't work. Could you tell me what could be wrong?
Thanks

Best regards
Scott

Hi,

Hard to say. Do you mean that you can't select the category you want in the "main category" setting of your module because you don't see it there ?
In that case, you could try the "rebuild" button of the categories listing.
Also could you provide some screenshots of the situation so that we can understand what category, below which category cannot be used where ?

Thanks,Nicolas.
I attached 2 sets of screenshot, and they are of the same content module, only I change the main category in data display.
But the result in the front end are very different.
The first 2 are from the category I created recently, and the last 2 are created couple months ago.
All the products in both categories are published. I really have no idea why the product list shows nothing in the newly created category.

Thanks for your help
Best regards

Hi,

Could you provide screenshots of all the settings of the menu items/modules and links to them ? Could you also provide a screenshot of the products listing for that category in the backend ?

Hi,

You should turn off the "synchronize" option of your modules. Otherwise, when you are displaying that module while you're on a products or a categories listing menu item, the module will automatically use the main category of that menu item instead of the one in the "main category" setting of your module.

Thanks Nicolas,
I've set the synchronize to off, but the product list is still empty.
Still, the old category could be shown.
Please advice. Thanks.

Hi,

Well, you didn't provide a screenshot of all the settings, so I only gave you advice on the ones I could see.
You also need to make sure that the discount only and related products... settings are turned off and that the settings of the display sectino are turned on.

Thanks, Nicolas,
I attached with the content module setting. Both attributes you mentions are turned off.
One thing I don't understand is both category share the same module and with the same setting, only one can show the products, the other one just shows nothing.

Best regards

Hi,

Then I don't know.
Please provide a backend access and a link to the page with the issue so that we can have a look.

Hi,

We got the access and check the settings of the two modules.
I didn't find any issue with the HikaShop settings.
However, your modules are not assigned to any position of your template, so it's normal that they don't display anywhere.
Also, you didn't say where they should display on your frontend.

Thanks Nicolas,
I am using SP page-builder to show the module.
As mentioned, I am using the same module to shoe the product list. Except for category ID 129, 175, others could be shown.
This never happened before and I have not a bit of clue of this.

Hello,

My advice would be to assign the module to a position so you would be able to test that this module is visible on the page you want to display it.
Afterwards you could see to integrate it with SP page-builder but with that specific context it will be hard to perform any kind of debug (or know where the issue could be).
