How safe to update to 3.7

-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7

Hi guys,

I have hikashop V2 site's and V3 site's.
Is it already tested on joomla 3.7 or should i wait for the pioneers to find all the bugs?

Hello,

HikaShop 3.0.1 contains some design patches for Joomla 3.7 ; for all tests we made during the alpha/beta/rc, we didn't see any specific issue.
With HikaShop 2.6.x you will have some display issues in the backend.
Otherwise, our demo website has been updated to latest version so you can test it directly.

Is there a patch coming for 2.6.x to fix the issues in the backend?

I have a webshop with allot of customisation in the checkout and that will give issues on the change to 3.0 i think.

3.0.1 i will test if that works good :-)

Hi,

No. We don't plan on patching 2.6.x versions of HikaShop.
We've kept the old checkout as a legacy option so that you can still update and keep your customizations so that it breaks as less as possible even though the changes were really massive.
