Input check custom fields not validated

Hi,

I use some input fields and need validation:



So required YES
Custom Error Message: U dient een kleurcode in te voeren voor deze bestelling.

But on the frontend nothing happens when this field is empty

What do i need to make this work?

Hi,

That's a bug we found out about last week.
Download again the install package on our website and install it on yours and you'll get the patch.

Thanks it's working now.

Is it possible to show the error message's near the input boxes because they appear no in the right top corner.

Hello,

To do so, it would require to perform big modifications in the parts which display the item custom fields (in the product page or product listing) plus some development to create a javascript bridge to catch the "add to cart return data", process it and do the message display in the right position.
It is possible but it would need a lot of time because it's not a little modification ; it's really a big one !
