I'd like to ask that your team consider making it more obvious when there are patches included in a current version. For example, a frequent response on the forums after you've fixed an issue is "We've added a patch, go download the latest v3.0.1 from our site". When you download, the date and time stamp of the download is on the file name, but there's no recognizable build information. And unless you are a frequent user of the forums, you might not even know there is a bug fix available if you re-download.
For example, one Joomla extension vendor who does this really well, even with the Joomla update system, is Crosstec for Breezing Forms. We can see in the updater that there is a new version with patches like this:
Breezing Forms current version = 1.9.0 (build 899)
Breezing Forms available version = 1.9.0 (build 903)
It would be very helpful if we could get something like this for HikaShop updates. Is there any plan to do that?
Even if you aren't going to handle it via the Joomla Update System, if the files we download from the site were marked with an obvious Build number, that would help everyone know if there are new patches vs. the package we may have most recently downloaded of the same version.
