How to get rid of the category display in breadcrumbs?

The breadcrumb module display:
1. the menu items from the root to the current menu item
2. the categories from the main category of the current menu item to the current category/product if the "simplified breadcrumbs" setting of the HikaShop configuration is turned off.
3. the current category/product.

So if you want to remove point 2, you can check that setting.
If you want to remove point 1, there is no option as this is handled by Joomla. It would require rewriting the breadcrumbs module or change the way Joomla handles the breadcrumbs.
