[SOLVED] Header and footer in template emails

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 7

I'm trying to customize the emails templates but I see that automatically is added the default header.png and footer.png images.

How can I remove them to customize my layout?

I have exactly the same question !
My customized emails worked well in Hikashop 2.6.4 and now, these images are added.

I found the answer:
you have to choose another email template than user_notification. I have created a customized one and it works!

Thanks arnaudgautron and Jerome for answering, I understood now. We have to create a new template instead of editing the HTML version for the email.

I too am struggling to find where in the templates this code is added:

<td class="w600" style="line-height:0px" width="600" valign="top">
<img class="w600" src="XXXXX/media/com_hikashop/images/mail/footer.png" border="0" alt="--" />

</tr>

I simply do not want this graphic included on the email, but cannot find it on either the email_notification template or the order_notification template.

The solution will be to directly edit your email template by using the "Email template" option through the configuration page of your emails.
