Notice popup on home page

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.1 essential
-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.2
-- PHP version -- : 5.6
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Opera firefox and chrome
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Not considered by joomla as an error

Hello

Since the joomla 3.7.1 update the notice popup of the footer module named "connaissez vous leurs bienfaits" does not display correctly. It display the home page within the popup and break the home page css. This only happen frome the home page. From the same module on other pages it goes correctly.

What could cause this?

The site is offline. I can send login account in private message to those willing to help.

Hi,

Without being able to look at the issue, we can't say anything.
You don't even talk about HikaShop in your message so we don't even know if there is anything related to HikaShop in your situation.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply, I will send you the login info today.

The module "connaissez vous leurs bienfaits" is an Hikashop module and the problem is on the notice popup when you click on add to cart or add to wishlist. This same module and popup works perfectly for other pages than the home page .

And then, when that URL is loaded by the browser, the website says that it should redirect to:

Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.

Which is why you see the hompage in the popup instead of the standard notice.
I suppose that this is because of some custom rules you've added in the .htaccess of your website and these rules should be fixed to not activate for the notice URL.
Could you check on that please ?

Thank you for your expertise, you are right, it is the .htaccess redirection that causes this. I have not found a solution yet but as it is not hikashop related we can close this subject.
