Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found

-- url of the page with the problem -- : newela.biz/store/all-products
-- HikaShop version -- : 3.11
-- Joomla version -- : 3.72
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.20
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Class 'ContentHelperRoute' not found

This error message suddenly appeared on all pages, and we did nothing to cause it that we know of. We think it's an issue with default_php. But we made no changes there. Can someone help, please?

Nicholas, I think you're right. But, does anybody know what could have caused this? I saw the same post, but it's not relevant because it relates to Joomla 1.5 and an old module. What this error, it is affecting all pages which have a payment gateway. Three other apps besides Hikashop have such gateways to authorize.net.

Hi,

The first problem is that the fatal error message you have doesn't contain the file nor the line of the error.
So without that, it's hard to say what to do.
The message is too generic like that.
You would have to check in the PHP error log of your server for the full error message with the line/file.
I would guess that the error comes from an old module or plugin you have on your website on these pages which needs to add a link to a Joomla article. But I can't say much more.
The class ContentHelperRoute actually doesn't exist in the whole code of HikaShop.

Thank you, I thought of this too. But I doubt it's a module or plugin. I will check the error log, as you suggest.

Nicolas, your suspicions were correct after all. I was displaying an off-canvas sidebar on all pages. For whatever reason, the module broke any pages which contained an embedded payment gateway. I discovered by backtracking all site changes made since Friday afternoon. Strange that there was nothing about it whatsoever in the PHP error log. I did get some insight by turning on Joomla error reporting to maximum, once I had disabled the module. So now I'll have to figure out something else for my sidebar, but at least Hikashop and the other carts are working again.
