How do I generate a Paypal payment link that I can send to a user via email so he does not have to go through the checkout?

Hello,

I'm afraid that, in that specific case, there is no link with HikaShop and an e-commerce system ; but it's just related to Paypal.
Otherwise, please clarify.

Magento has it for instance. You create an order and just hit the button and get the link you can paste into an email. Without that comfort you have to log into your Paypal account and do it there manually, its called the "buy now" button. But since not even Paypal Plus is available in Hikashop I assume the "buy now" button is missing as well.

Hi,

No, there is a pay link you can give. However, it's not linked to PayPal, it will work with all the payment gateways supported by HikaShop.
You can give that link:

http://yourwebsite.com/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=order&task=pay&order_id=XXX
where XXX is the id of the order to be paid. Only the customer account linked to that order will be able to pay it after logging in, for security reasons.
This also requires the "Payment of orders not paid immediately" setting to be activated in the HikaShop configuration.
