Unfortunalaty when a product from the wishlist is ordered it is deleted form the wishlist. I want to keep products in the wishlist.

Do I miss a parameter somewhere?

Hi,

The button you're using there is called "move to cart" in English. Its role is to "move" a product from a wishlist to a cart, and not to "copy" it:
monosnap.com/file/a009Jfhk4Dj2g6MWevB3YOZdhxmay7
So it's normal that the product is not in the wishlist anymore after you've moved it to the cart.
There is actually no "copy" function so if you want to change that, that won't be so easy. You would have to a developer help you with that.

Hmmmm. Now I don´t understand!

Jerome answered me a couple of days ago:
Jerome: "I don't think that you're using HikaShop 3.x because the wishlist system changed a lot and products are not removed from wishlists anymore."

Hi,

There Jerome is talking about something else.
If you click on the "add to cart" button that displays instead of the "move to cart" button when you're displaying the wishlist of someone else (for example for a wedding gift list), then the products will be added to your cart, and when you purchase them, they won't be removed from the wishlist like they were before but instead they will be marked as "already purchased" so that other people looking at the wishlist don't purchase the same products.

Aha.

But where can I configure the 'add to cart' instead of 'move to cart'?
In my opinion I have only the 'move to cart'.

Hi,

It's already the case if you're looking at the wishlist of someone else.
If you're looking at your own wishlist, then that button is not available and you don't have that capability.
So there is nothing to configure to get what you want. It would require modifying the code of HikaShop as I was saying.

Hi,

We're currently trying developing a solution for this.
But are so far unsuccessful in overriding the cart controller.

Is it possible to achieve this using the Cart API?

Any suggestions would be helpful :)

Thanks in advance!

Peter

Hello,

Overriding the controller might not been the best approach. But you can see to have your own controller for your specific actions.
Afterwards, the Cart API system have function to add products into a cart so, if you format correctly the data you should be able to use that function to add a product into the cart from the wishlist data you have (and not just perform a "move" like it is right now).
