Hi , Have made a simple standard joomla menu module ( list of hikashop catetegroies)

I would like to show this module in the produckt listing pages, an i work well, but when i go form the product listing by clik on an product to the product detail view it stil shows the module.

I have tried at use the hikashop content module to make the same menu and set to NO reaging display on product details and i works fine, but of one reason i cant set the UL(li) class or even the simple list, so i look like the same menu as made with the standard joomla menu module.

I have also tried to set the hikashop content module class suffix til the same suffix as the joomla menu module use as standard - nav menu

You can look and see it here

Hello,

Restricting the access of your category listing joomla module through the "Module Assignment" option to a restricted list of pages should do the job.
But we'll probably need more informations through some screenshots for example, to properly advise you.

Hello,

If you don't want to have module displaying on the product page, you have to modify display option in Main HikaShop option for this :
- Go to Main HikaShop configuration page (Components => HikaShop => Configuration)
- Click on Display tab
- Go to Product options part
- And click "select" to configure "Modules under the product page" option
- You will see something like this :

- To fit your needs you have to unpublished the unwanted module.

Hope this will fit your needs.

Regards

Hello,

If using the Joomla "Module Assignement" option of your content module can't prevent the displaying of that module through your product pages, a solution can also be to use an extension like "Module Anywhere" :
extensions.joomla.org/extension/modules-anywhere/

Hi,

So to understand it right.

So if I asign a module It a hika produkt listing menu item i will be showed in the produkt detail view as well.

How will module anywhere change that since i still need to asign the module to the product listing menu item ? Or is there another way to do it ?

As i see it the right way to solve the issue are using the hika shop content module and show a list of the categories here i can set it to only show on listing.

This i have tried but i can,t get the UL class or the show simple list to work. The module i use now have a UL class "nav menu" have tried to set it as module class suffix or set it in the UL class in the module set up.

What to do

Regards

On own behalf in general and on behalf of the RCA theme in particular we would like to apologize for the fact that setting up UL in category listing did not work.

The reason is due to the fact that a RCA theme has the remove fuctions, among other things this Sette of UL fuction.

I will now go through the things and see what else has removed in the different views that they have "customized"

Sorry many times.

Hi,

Thanks for clearing that up.

As a side note:
When you access a menu item, like a categories listing menu item, HikaShop will display the categories listing pages, the products listing pages and the product pages within that same menu item.
And the Joomla modules manager doesn't have enough granularity to be able to display or not a module based on the different type of pages within a menu item as you saw.
If it's a HikaShop module, we've added extra display options so that you can display or not the module based on the page type within the menu item.
But we can't do that for other modules.
However, Advanced Modules manager made similar generic options for plenty of extensions for all the modules so that if you use it, you'll be able to restrict the display of modules based on the different page types for all the the possible modules.
So using a HikaShop content module can be a solution yes. But if you want to do it with a menu module, it's still possible but only with an extension like Advanced Modules manager.
