-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.0
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.23
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : all

I just upgraded my site to Joomla 3.8 on a test location (not the URL shown in the topic). It totally destroyed Hikashop... My shop URL (product listing) simply shows the homepage. All URL's that showed products return a 404 error.

I first tested this on localhost and then tried again on a test-domain with the same result. I am quite happy to provide credentials or can redo the process, I backed up the site and can easily restore the pre- 3.8 situation so that you can compare the situation.

I will send credentials for my test-site via the contactform in a minute.

Did some trouble-shooting:
The site is using SH404SEF, but as in the old days Hikashop and SH404SEF were not compatible, I always had the SH404SEF setting for Hikashop set to use the Joomla router. So I though, let's see what happens if I let Hikashop use the SH404SEF router:

This resulted in the main shop (product listing) being displayed correctly again. So it seems there is an issue between Hikashop and the new Joomla router, at least in my installation. Note that not everyting is solved by SH404SEF. Clicking a product from the product-listing still returns a 404.

Another finding: completely disabling SH404SEF makes the shop work again it seems. Not a real option for me on production, but it may be a useful finding for trouble-shooting.

Contacted Weeblr and indeed this was due to a bug in Joomla causing issues in SH404SEF for components NOT using SH404SEF router. Comment from Weeblr:

"There was again an unforeseen change in J! 3.8 that broke this, coming from the introduction of the new router (even if not enabled, the internals have somewhat changed, although less than I thought)."

I received a DEV version that solved the problem, case can be closed, but obviouslu this is a warning to be careful when upgrading Joomla to 3.8 for now.
